01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BountyBoard you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. These Terms apply to all users including Referrers and Businesses.

If you are using BountyBoard on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

02 Description of Service

BountyBoard is a referral platform that connects local service businesses ("Businesses") with individuals ("Referrers") who introduce potential customers to those businesses. The platform provides:

• A marketplace for Businesses to post referral opportunities ("Bounties") with associated cash rewards.
• Unique referral links for Referrers to share with potential customers.
• Lead tracking from initial click through to job completion.
• Automated escrow and payout services powered by Stripe Connect.
• Integration with ServiceM8 for business job management.

BountyBoard is a technology platform. We are not a party to any service agreement between a Business and its customers, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of any services performed.

03 Eligibility & Accounts

To use BountyBoard you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a legal resident of the United States.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@bbountyboard.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Each person may hold only one Referrer account. Creating multiple accounts to increase referral earnings is prohibited and will result in immediate termination of all associated accounts and forfeiture of any pending rewards.

04 Referrer Terms

What you can do

• Browse active Bounties and share your unique referral links through any legal channel — text, social media, word of mouth, etc.
• Refer as many potential customers as you wish.
• Earn the reward amount listed on each Bounty when the associated job closes and payment clears.

What you must not do

• Self-refer — submitting leads for yourself, household members, or anyone who has not genuinely expressed interest in the service.
• Manufacture or fabricate leads in any way.
• Misrepresent the nature, price, or quality of a Business's services when sharing your link.
• Spam contacts, post unsolicited messages, or violate any platform's terms when sharing referral links.
• Transfer or sell your referral link or account to another person.

Referrer status

Referrers using BountyBoard are independent individuals, not employees, agents, or contractors of BountyBoard. You are responsible for any tax obligations arising from rewards you earn. We will issue a Form 1099-NEC for U.S. Referrers earning $600 or more in a calendar year as required by law.

05 Business Terms

Posting bounties

• Businesses may post Bounties for legitimate services they offer.
• The reward amount listed is the amount that will be paid to the Referrer upon job completion and must be honored.
• Bounties may include a lead limit (maximum number of leads accepted). Once the limit is reached, no further leads will be accepted.
• Businesses may pause or close a Bounty at any time for leads not yet submitted. Leads already submitted must be followed up on in good faith.

Lead handling

• Businesses must make a genuine effort to contact every lead within a reasonable timeframe (we recommend 24 hours).
• Businesses may not mark a lead as cancelled to avoid paying a reward where a job was actually performed or the customer was otherwise served.
• Dispute resolution for contested lead statuses is described in Section 13.

Escrow funding

Businesses authorize BountyBoard to hold reward funds in escrow upon lead submission and to release those funds to Referrers automatically upon job completion. See Section 6 for full payout terms.

06 Payouts & Escrow

How escrow works

When a Business accepts a lead, the reward amount is held in escrow. Funds are released to the Referrer automatically when:

• The job is marked as "Completed" by the Business, and
• Payment for the job is confirmed (via ServiceM8 invoice status or manual confirmation).

Payout timing

• Bank account (ACH) payouts typically arrive within 1–2 business days after release.
• Debit card instant payouts are subject to a small processing fee charged by Stripe.
• Payout timing may be affected by Stripe's processing schedules and any identity verification holds.

Disputes

If a Referrer believes a reward was not released despite a completed job, they may contact us within 30 days of the expected payout date. We will review the ServiceM8 job and invoice records and make a determination within 10 business days.

Platform fee

BountyBoard may charge a platform service fee to Businesses. Current fee amounts are disclosed within the app at the time of Business account setup and may be updated with 30 days' notice.

07 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of BountyBoard.
• Access the platform through automated means (bots, scrapers) without our written permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users, customers, or our staff.
• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated lead information.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of BountyBoard.
• Use BountyBoard to collect or harvest other users' personal information.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the platform.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, termination, forfeiture of pending rewards, and legal action where appropriate.

08 Intellectual Property

BountyBoard and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to the name, logo, app design, and text) are owned by BountyBoard and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BountyBoard for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our express written permission.

By uploading a profile photo or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the platform.

09 Disclaimers

BountyBoard is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any Bounty listing, lead, or other content.

We are not responsible for the conduct of Businesses or Referrers, for the quality of services performed, or for disputes between Businesses and their customers.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BountyBoard and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of BountyBoard.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total rewards paid to you through the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BountyBoard and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of or inability to use BountyBoard.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the platform.

12 Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms or our policies.
• Harms other users, Businesses, or customers.
• Creates legal liability for us.

Upon termination: your access to the platform ceases immediately; any unpaid rewards for legitimately completed jobs will be paid out on schedule; any pending rewards for leads that have not yet closed will be forfeited.

Sections 7–11 and 13 survive termination of these Terms.

13 Dispute Resolution

Informal resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@bbountyboard.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the issue informally.

Binding arbitration

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and BountyBoard agree to resolve any claim through final and binding arbitration, except that either party may bring individual claims in small claims court. The arbitration will be conducted by a mutually agreed arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

Class action waiver

You agree to resolve disputes with us only on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via push notification or email at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use of BountyBoard after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using BountyBoard and may delete your account.
